RETURN TO ROME

Taking it back in time where the Maison’s story began - its historic headquarter, Palazzo Mignanelli, and Trinità dei Monti. The elective affinities tying the brand to the capital city and its academic institutions are deep and are celebrated through an approach of Giving Back: the Maison has, in fact, decided to support the planting of two palms in Piazza di Spagna in substitution of the current ones, affected by red palm weevil. The gesture highlights Valentino's closeness to the territory and its safeguard in a bid for the brand and its community to strengthen the synergy and mutual respect with the local scenery. Students from various Roman art and fashion schools were invited to attend the show for the first time, emphasizing the Maison's spotlight on young talents who are offered opportunities for artistic exchange and creative dialogue. Maison Valentino opened its archives in Piazza Mignanelli for the first time. The entire city was invited to a live experience to discover a selection of heritage garments and archival pieces dated between 1950-1973. An immersive journey in history where Valentino’s world is celebrated through the strong pioneering spirit that has defined it since its inception: Creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are the keywords forever distinguishing the Italian Maison de Couture born in Rome.
