MAYHOOLA SUPPORTS SPAIN AGAINST COVID-19 EMERGENCY BY DONATING 1 MILLION EUROS

Maison Valentino announces Mayhoola supports Spain against COVID-19 emergency by donating 1 million euros

Valentino, Balmain and Pal Zileri parent company is supporting the Madrid Community during the health emergency situation which is currently taking place in the Spanish capital.
The project will contribute to the expansion of the emergency field hospital HOSPITAL COVID-19 IFEMA, constructed rapidly within the Madrid Exhibition Center (IFEMA).
The objective of this temporary healthcare facility is to accommodate 1,300 patients suffering from COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic spread quickly in Spain, despite the restricted measures taken in the sanitary structures of the city. The space accommodating the infected patients was insufficient, while the emergency structures were already heavily struggling. The extraordinary temporary hospital facility will serve to improve the handling of the health emergency situation in Madrid, one of the more affected cities in Spain by the pandemic.

The Madrid Exhibition Center infrastructure is a strategic site for completing this key and operational project in such a short time. Pavilions 5, 7 and 9 will be implemented in addition to creating common areas in Pavilion 10.

Mayhoola will donate 1 million euros to contribute towards the investment of the development of the emergency field hospital HOSPITAL COVID-19 IFEMA, which will become the largest hospital structure of the Madrid Community. This plan was launched on March 22nd and within 24 hours, it was already functional. By the end of March, it is expected to be totally active guaranteeing safety measures for all patients and hospital staff.
